COVID 19 Guidelines

Kolkata Airport: On arrival, health screening shall be done for all the passengers. Asymptomatic passengers will be permitted to go with the advice that they shall self monitor their health for 14 days. In case they develop any symptoms, they shall inform the local medical officer or state call center 1800 313 444 222/033-23412600,2357 3636/1083/1085 for medical interventions.  Odisha: The Odisha government on Monday issued specific guidelines for air passengers landing at the Biju Patnaik International airport."Passengers deboarding at Bhubaneswar have to produce RTPCR negative report or Rapid antigen test negative report obtained 48hrs prior to landing. Citizens can also produce final vaccination certificates. Without either of the above passengers have to undergo a mandatory RAT test. Positive cases will be handled as per treatment protocol. This order comes into effect immediately," the government circular said. Citizens coming without any of the above reports shall have to undergo a mandatory RAT test at the testing facility created at BPIA premises for this purpose. The positive cases detected at the RAT test at the BPIA will be dealt with as per the treatment protocol. The state government has decided to extend the Covid lockdown in the state due to a surge in positivity rate in most of the districts. This is an extension of the earlier lockdown and shall continue till 5 am on June 17, 2021

Dudai :The Dubai government has relaxed restrictions for travel from India, Nigeria and South Africa with effect from June 23. With regard to travel from India, only passengers with a valid residence visa who have received two doses of a UAE-approved vaccine, are allowed to travel to Dubai. There are four vaccines approved by the UAE government — Sinopharm, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sputnik V and Oxford-AstraZeneca.Eligible passengers travelling from India to Dubai should also present a negative test certificate from an RT-PCR test taken 48 hours before departure; UAE nationals are exempted from this requirement. Furthermore, passengers travelling to Dubai from India are required to undergo a rapid PCR test four hours prior to departure to Dubai. They must also undergo another RT-PCR test on arrival in Dubai. In addition, following arrival, passengers from India should undergo institutional quarantine until they receive their PCR test result, which is expected within 24 hours. UAE citizens and diplomats are exempted from institutional quarantine. Notably, only QR-coded negative PCR test certificates are accepted.Chennai: Thermal screening is mandatory at entry points to state

All passengers (other than Maharashtra and Kerala) have to undergo self-monitoring of their health for 14 days. (During the period, if the individual develops fever, cough, breathlessness they must visit the nearest health facility). All passengers who travelled from Maharashtra and Kerala have to be in home quarantine for seven days and self-monitor their health over this period. (During the period, if the individual develops fever, cough, breathlessness they must visit the nearest health facility.) Testing to be done on symptomatic persons coming from other States/Union Territory If they test positive and symptomatic, they will be taken to the hospital for isolation. If they are positive and asymptomatic, they will be taken to a COVID Care Centre for management. If they test negative and are also asymptomatic, they will be advised to self-monitor themselves for 14 days. If they test negative but are symptomatic, they will be taken to hospital isolation and the next course of action will be decided based on medical opinion. For all international travelers, except travellers coming on flights originating from UK, Brazil, South Africa, Europe and the Middle East, the following are the guidelines:All travellers should submit a self-declaration form on the online Air Suvidha portal (www.newdelhiairport.in).All passengers should upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR report. This test should have been conducted within 72 hours prior to undertaking the journey. Uploaded false information will be liable for criminal prosecution. Thermal screening on arrival is mandatory. The passengers found to be symptomatic during screening shall be immediately isolated and taken to a medical facility and treated as per standard treatment protocol. Others must self-monitor their health for 14 days All such passengers shall inform the State/National call centres in case they develop symptoms at any time during the quarantine or self-monitoring of their health.Bangalore:As per the GoK circular dated June 28, 2021, a negative RT-PCR report not older than 72 hours or a vaccination certificate of having received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine is mandatory for all passengers arriving from Maharashtra. The document will be verified by the airline staff at the time of boarding.The following categories are exempted from displaying a negative RT-PCR report: Children below 2 years Passengers ith vaccination certificate of having received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine  During an emergency (death in family/ medical treatment, etc), the passenger’s swab will be collected on arrival. Once the RT-PCR test report is available, further action will be taken as per State protocol Constitutional functionaries and healthcare professionals 

Restrictions on International Flights from India

Due to surge of Covid-19 in India, following countries banned flights/issued guidelines for passengers travelling from India :-

1.         Iran- It banned travellers from India from Sunday midnight (April 25/26).

2.         Kuwait- It banned flights from India from April 24. Freighters will continue.

3.         Indonesia- It has decided not to issue Visas to any foreigners who have visited India during the past 14 days.

4.         France- the travellers from Indian will have to undergo the mandatory antigen test on their arrival apart from pre-boarding RT-PCR test.

5.         UAE- It has banned all flights from India except Cargo flights for 10 days from April 24/25 midnights. However, passengers exempted from this ban include UAE citizens, diplomatic missions appointed by the countries, official delegations, businessmen travelling on chartered flights and those with golden residency.

6.         USA- It has issued travel advisory to their citizens for visiting India. United Airlines has suspended its flight operation to India citing administrative reasons. However, on the intervening night of April 25/26, it resumed flight operation and operated two flights i.e UA-899 (Delhi-Chicago) and UA-868 (Delhi-San Francisco).

7.         Israel- It has issued travel advisory to their citizens for visiting India.

8.         UK- It has added India in its travel “Red list”. It bars all travel from the country and makes 10 days hotel quarantine mandatory for all UK and Irish citizens coming back from India. All flights have been suspended till April 30.

9.         Hong Kong- It has suspended all flights from India w.e.f April 20 till May 2.

10.       Singapore- It has banned all long term pass holders and short term visitors, who have travelled to India within the last 14 days from entry or transit via Singapore from April 24.

11.      Canada- It has suspended all flights from India for 30 days starting from the intervening night of April 23/24. However, Cargo flights from India will continue.

12.      Australia- On April 27, Australian Government has banned all incoming flights from India till May 15, 2021. This includes Special and Chartered Flights. Any requirement of flight operation will need special permission from the Embassy.

13.      New Zealand- It bars all flights from India till further orders.

14.      Qatar- Qatar authorities have issued travel advisory effective April 25 asking all pax travelling to Qatar are required to present negative RT-PCR test report at the Indian departure airport. The test report should be validated and certified from an ICMR accredited lab and conducted within 72 hours prior to the schedule time of arrival in Qatar.

15.      Bahrain- Effective from April 27, all passengers travelling from India are required to carry a negative RT-PCR test. The test report should be validated and certified from an ICMR accredited lab and conducted within 48 hours prior to the schedule time of departure.

16.      Maldives- Effective from April 27, all passengers travelling from India are required to carry a negative RT-PCR test. The test report should be validated and certified from an ICMR accredited lab and conducted within 96 hours prior to the scheduled time of departure from the first port of embarkment enroute to Maldives and will also require to undertake a RT-PCR test within 72 hours from the time of departure from Maldives.

17.      Germany- Effective from April 26, entry into Germany from India is restricted with certain exceptions as it has classified India as a Virus Variant country. Exception of travel ban granted to citizens of Germany, Permanent resident, transit person only staying at airport, cargo flights, person travelling due to urgent humanitarian reasons and person travelling by the order of IAEA, UNO.

18.      Bangladesh-Effective from April 26, restriction for entry of Indians into Bangladesh from India through Air/ Rail/ Land with certain exceptions has been extended till May 9. Flight operations from Dhaka have been already suspended since April 14. Cargo movement is permitted.

19.      Italy- Effective from April 26, restriction for Indians entry into Italy. Only residents will be allowed to return from India with a negative test report at the time of departure and will have to undergo quarantine upon arrival.

20.      Oman- Effective from April 24, restriction for entry of Indian into Oman till further orders. Only Oman citizens, Diplomats, Health care workers and their families will be allowed to return from India with a negative test report at the time of departure and will have to undergo quarantine upon arrival.

21.      Djibouti- As per Government of Djibouti orders, Djibouti has restricted the entry of all travelers coming from India to Djibouti.

22.      All the Indian Carriers have also suspended their scheduled flight operation to the countries which have imposed ban on the entry of Indian citizen.
